Countryside Animal Trail

In the Zoological Garden in Lubin, we pay a lot of attention to farm animals. Native breeds are of particular importance to us, especially that they are ever more difficult to find in the countryside. That’s why a large farm animal enclosure has been founded, with a central courtyard, wooden outbuildings with outdoor enclosures, and a pasture where most of our animals graze from early spring until late autumn. As of now, we have 10 Polish breeds in our Park, which makes the largest collection in the country. They are: Sandomierz goat, Carpathian goat, Olkusz sheep, Polish heath sheep, Popielno rabbit, Kielce goose, Polish dwarf duck, Polish miniature chicken, green-legged partridge, Polish whiteback. On the Farm Animals Trail, it is strictly forbidden to feed the animals. The only exception applies when there is food available in the special feeders.
The total length of the Trail is 500 m.
