(PL) Ogród Zoologiczny w Lubinie
Ogród Zoologiczny w Lubinie powstał w 2014 r. na terenie zrewitalizowanego parku miejskiego, którego historia sięga XIX w. Zajmuje ponad 14 ha, a centralna część zachowana jest w stanie naturalnym; jest pozostałością lasu łęgowego. Dzięki temu ogród charakteryzuje się wyjątkową bioróżnorodnością, zarówno pod względem dendroflory, jak i awifauny. Ogród zoologiczny oglądać można korzystając ze szlaków tematycznych. Nowością jest otwarta w 2023 r. Ścieżka edukacyjno-turystyczna „Fauna Polski” z wybiegiem żubrów. Poza tym istnieją: Szlak Ptaków z wolierami dla ponad 60 gatunków ptaków z Polski i ze świata, Szlak Zwierząt Wiejskich z największą kolekcją polskich ras rodzimych, Szlak Zwierząt Wymarłych z kilkudziesięcioma pełnowymiarowymi figurami oraz Szlak Pomników Przyrody z piętnastoma drzewami pomnikowymi. Na terenie ogrodu znajduje się także duży plac zabaw z fontanną i wiele miejsc do przyjemnego spędzania czasu na świeżym powietrzu. W zoo obowiązuje zakaz dokarmiania i płoszenia zwierząt, zakaz wstępu ze zwierzętami oraz zakaz wjazdu rowerami i innymi pojazdami.
Ogród otwarty jest przez cały rok, a wstęp jest bezpłatny.
Ogród Zoologiczny w Lubinie prezentuje największą pośród ogrodów zoologicznych w kraju kolekcję bażantów (ok. 20) oraz największy zbiór polskich ras zwierząt gospodarskich (10 ras: koza sandomierska, koza karpacka, owca olkuska, owca wrzosówka, królik popielniański, gęś kielecka, kaczka pomniejszona, kura czubatka polska brodata miniaturowa, kura zielononóżka kuropatwiana, krowa białogrzbieta).

Der Lubiner Tiergarten wurde 2014 auf dem Lande vom revitalisierten Stadtpark gegründet, dessen Geschichte zurück zum 19. Jahrhundert reicht. Er besetzt über 14 ha, wovon der zentrale Teil im natürlichen Zustand belassen ist: die Überreste von einem Auwald. Somit charakterisiert sich der Park durch eine ausgezeichnete Biodiversität, besonders wenn es um Dendroflora und Avifauna geht. Den Garten genießt man am besten, wenn man den thematischen Wegen folgt. Die neueste Zugabe ist der Edukation-Touristenweg “Tierwelt Polens” mit einem Auslauf der Wisente (das schwerste Wildtier Europas). Außerdem gibt es: den Weg der Vögel mit Volieren für 60 Gattungen aus Polen und der Welt, den Weg der Landtiere mit der größten Kollektion von einheimischen Rassen, den Weg der ausgestorbenen Tiere mit einigen Dutzend Figu-ren in voller Größe; und den Weg der Naturdenkmäler mit fünfzehn Baum-Denkmäler. Auf dem Gelände des Gartens befindet sich auch ein großer Spielplatz mit einem Springbrunnen und vielen Plätzen, wo man die Zeit an der frischen Luft genießen kann.
Auf dem gesamten Zoogelände gilt das Verbot, Tiere zu füttern oder aufzuscheuchen. Eintritt mit Haustieren, oder auf einem Fahrrad, sowie mit anderen Fahrzeugen, ist ebenso untersagt.
Der Garten ist ganzjährig geöffnet und der Eintritt ist kostenfrei.

The Zoo in Lubin was founded in 2014 on the grounds of a revitalised town park, whose history reaches back to the 19th century. It covers an area of 14 ha, the central part preserved in its natural state: a remnant of riparian woodland. Subsequently, the Garden features exceptional biodiversity, both in the case of dendroflora and avifauna. The Zoo can be enjoyed by following the different themed trails. The newest addition is the Fauna of Poland Trail with a European buffalo enclosure (the heaviest wild animal in Europe). Other tours include: Bird Trail, with enclosures for over 60 bird species from Poland and the world; Farm Animals Trail, with the biggest collection of native Polish breeds; Extinct Animals Trail, with several dozen of full-scale figures; and Natural Monument Trail, with 15 monument Trees. On the Zoo grounds, there is also a big playground with a fountain, as well as many amenities for the enjoyment of the outdoors. Feeding and scaring animals is strictly forbidden across the facility, as is entering with pets, on a bicycle or other vehicle.
The Zoo is open year-round, and admission is free.
